We have wondered for the last few years how and why ESPN’s College Gameday hasn’t made a trip to the KFC Yum! Center. Raise your hand if you had the football version of the show making an appearance at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium before the KFC Yum! Center. Now put your hands down you liars! Louisville fans will now get some sort of abbreviated version of College Gameday on Wednesday night for the Louisville-Kentucky game.

The pre-game show will begin at 6:30 on Wednesday evening, 30 minutes before tip. The crew of Rece Davis, Jay Williams, and Seth Greenberg will be on hand for the show.

Jay Bilas and Dan Shulman will be calling the game, so no complaints there.

So we don’t get the full morning version of the show. But they are at least acknowledging that this rivalry game should have a little hype, I guess. All we can do is impress them so much that they have no choice but to come back. And win the game, that would be nice too.
